Flow 6024 Integrated Flying Bridge Waterjet Cutting System
The Flow 6024 Integrated Flying Bridge is one of the most recent additions to Absolute's cutting capacity. The large twin table design of this machine combined with the 87,000 PSI pump make this one of the most productive and accurate machines in the world. Flow's Hyperjet Technology pump can produce cut speeds that are twice as fast as conventional machines. This machine is also equipped with other performance enhancing technologies like a contour follower, vacuum assist, and dynamic cutting head for minimizing cut taper.
Omax 80160 Waterjet Cutting System
Is another of Absolute's highly productive water jet tables. This large format machine is capable of cutting stock as large as 80" wide x 162" long. This machine combined with other technological improvements like a precision optical locator, composite drill, terrain follower, and Tilt-A-Jet for eliminating taper has the ability to produce a variety of different parts for all types of industry applications on tight time lines.
Omax 55100 Waterjet Cutting System
This precision machining workhorse cuts jobs from prototypes to production runs in sizes up to 50"x100". The 55100 JetMachining Center cuts complex flat parts out of a variety of materials including metal, plastic, glass, ceramic and composites directly from CAD drawings or .DXF files. JetMachining is ideal for short-run part production, just-in-time manufacturing, tooling and prototype part development.
Hyper Jet Pump
The most advanced and robust high pressure system available, the extremely high pressure produced by the 87,000 psi double intensifier pump benefits Absolute's customers by drastically reducing part cut times and simultaneously improving the quality and accuracy of cut parts. Hyper pressure water jetting is especially beneficial for thicker materials like stainless and aluminum above 1" thick.
Dynamic Contour Follower
Allows operators to automatically set and maintain perfect nozzle standoff height. This enables machines to safely cut bowed or warped material while protecting the cutting head from costly crashes. Maintaining perfect standoff height is also very crucial to improving the accuracy of taper compensated dynamic cutting.
Precision Optical Locator
The Precision Optical Locator (POL) facilitates precision JetMachining of pre-machined components, such as die stripper plates. The POL is designed to let you accurately place parts on the OMAX for secondary machining operations. You can place the parts in any orientation, and the software will automatically rotate the tool path to match the placement of the part.
Omax Mini Jet
The MiniJet is designed for abrasive waterjet cutting applications requiring a narrower cut width and/or a more precise cut. It is ideal for making parts with intricate shapes or where minimum possible taper is desired. The MiniJet is also well-suited to cutting thin, delicate material.
Omax Drill
The OMAX Drill accessory permits reliable piercing of laminate and composites prior to abrasive waterjet cutting and accurately pierces small diameter holes in thick material. The OMAX Drill is mounted to the Y-Axis carriage and enables the machine to precisely pierce and cut laminates like G10, Garolite, Phenolics, and carbon fiber composites.
Omax Dynamic Tiltajet
The Tilt-A-Jet lets the OMAX™ JetMachining™ Center achieve virtually zero taper with most materials. The Tilt-A-Jet can position the nozzle at an angle calculated by the software to exactly offset the natural taper from the abrasive jet. Taper doesn't disappear - it just gets moved to the scrap part of the material, leaving your part with square, taper-free edges. Using Tilt-A-Jet technology also reduces part cost by allowing machines to cut faster linear speeds while maintaining the accuracy and taper reduction required.
Water Saving Chiller
All of Absolute's Water Jet Tables use water saving chillers to provide both an environmentally sound solution to water usage and also to improve the reliability and longevity of high pressure pump components. Over 2/3 of all the water used in water jet cutting systems is required for cooling the pumps and high pressure components. All of Absolute's cutting tables use water chillers to recirculate cooling water. Also, by cooling the input water and chilling major pump components the pump life is increased while simultaneously reducing down time for repairs. At the same time chillers provide more cost savings and environmental benefits by saving more than 10,000 gallons of water per machine per month!
Tapping Arm
Can provide secondary tapping operations directly into water jet cut holes. Since all of Absolute's machines are equipped with taper compensating cutting heads, minor diameter holes can be easily cut on the water jet and directly tapped. In many cases this can save customers costly multiple operations to finish parts.
Giant Finishing Vibratory Tumbler
Uses high grade ceramic tumbling media to provide a perfect burr-free finish to customers' water jet cut parts. In most cases water jet cutting provides a very fine cut with minimal burrs, but this vibratory tumbling process can add that perfect finishing touch on your final part that everyone can be proud of!
